Project & Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join our dynamic sales team as a Project & Marketing Research Coordinator in Farmingdale, NY.  We are looking for an individual that is a fast learner and self motivated. This is a fast paced job and there is a lot to learn. We have an extensive training system in place to help our new team members and give them the necessary training and support to become an expert.

Job Responsibilities
•    Interacting with existing customers primarily via phone to obtain pertinent information for market research, quoting and follow up
•    Cultivate new customer relationships
•    Working with team members in the field and office to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
•    Assembling quotes and bids using both internal and external vendor pricing systems
•    Updating and maintaining information in SalesForce (our CRM system) and sales files;
•    Liaising with manufacturers to obtain information for customers on products etc.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements
•    You have a 4 year College Degree (preferably in marketing or communications)
•    You have at least 2 years experience in the Commercial Construction industry
•    You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
•    You have excellent communication and customer service skills
•    You are a highly motivated individual
•    You are a quick learner
•    You are goal and detail orientated

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
•    Marketing Research / Marketing experience with an understanding of the Marketing Research process
•    Sales experience
•    Touch Typing would be beneficial
•    SalesForce.com experience would be beneficial
